WRITING TASK 2
The leaders or directors of organizations are often older people, but some people think that young people can also be a leader.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
建议思路:I agree(直接同意是因为题目要求是can also be a leader, 而没有否定older people。
In contemporary organizations, the prevailing image of leadership often revolves around individuals with extensive experience, typically those who are older. However, I firmly support the notion that younger individuals possess the capability to assume leadership roles.
Admittedly, older leaders bring invaluable wisdom and experience garnered through years of professional endeavors. Nevertheless, the younger generation can compensate for their relative lack of experience by actively engaging in continuous learning and targeted training programs. As evidence suggests, numerous accomplished young leaders have shattered stereotypes by showing exceptional leadership prowess.
Young individuals can indeed excel as effective leaders for several reasons. Firstly, their inherent dynamism enables them to handle increased work pressure and achieve commendable results. Secondly, the receptiveness of younger minds to novel ideas and concepts fosters a strong spirit of innovation and adaptability—traits imperative for effective leadership. Lastly, their adeptness with modern technology, a hallmark of contemporary society, allows them with a distinct advantage in navigating and leveraging the digital landscape.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that being young should not hinder someone from becoming a great leader. The energy, willingness to embrace new ideas, and expertise in technology equip young people with what it takes to succeed as leaders, even if it challenges traditional views on leadership.
